Hi folks!

This Thursday our TCG chair will be holding a Hearthstone tournament. There is no entry fee, so don’t be shy! There will not be a prize on the line (other than bragging rights), so just show up and have fun.

On Saturday, the anime group will be taking a break from their Bizarre Adventure in favor of a movie (or two). The film in question will be The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. Bring a popcorn or two and enjoy the film!

Game-On-i-Con Committee! You will be meeting this Thursday, Saturday, and next Thursday with the goal of completing poster design for Game-On-i-Con. You’ll have more details to work with soon. We’re counting on you to make something fantastic and beautiful!

That’s it for this week.

Hey people!

This Thursday we have exciting events for you (probably)! Shane will be doing something with his video game machines for your enjoyment. I’m sure he has a game or two in mind (we hope). After business, the Game-On-i-Con committee will be meeting briefly.

This saturday, Anime Club will be continuing its adventures into the muscly world of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure. Eric won’t be there to facilitate things, but he has appointed somebody to take over for him for the meeting.

Total-con is taking place this weekend at the Holiday Inn in Mansfield, MA. Syndi-con is also coming up in the near future. It’ll be held at UNH during the weekend of March 5th and 6th.

Speaking of cons, pick up your sewing needles and don your fancy headgear! We will be planning on holding a cosplay contest at Game-On-i-Con. The event will be held on Sunday, April 10th from 1:00pm-5:00pm. Make something beautiful!

That’s all for now,

Tristan Ness

Hello everybody!

This week we’ve got a couple of nice things lined up for you! On Thursday, our Warmachine people will be setting up some basic games to teach to anyone who’s interested. If tabletop tactics is your thing, swing on by and have some fun!

This Saturday, we’ll finally be giving some time to all of the anime fans in Gaming Club. Details on this are forthcoming, but suffice it to say: the JCAC chair has some good fun planned for you.

On the topic of Game-On-i-Con: Anybody who wants to run an event will need to fill out a GM form. These can be conveniently located on the club’s WordPress ( We need events in order for the con to be as fun and exciting as possible, so please don’t be shy with your ideas!
Speaking of cons, Syndi-Con at UNH and Total Con in Massachusetts are both happening this Spring. We’ll let you know more as we get more information, but mark them down on your calendar. Go, have fun, and subtly (or not-so-subtly) direct people towards Plymouth for Game-On-i-Con.

Lastly, many of you might be familiar with Anime Boston. We’re putting some feelers out right now to guage interest in a group trip. If we have enough people interested, we might be able to make this a reality.

That’ll be all, for now!
